Genven

Genven is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by gentamicinsensitive
bacteria, like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in calves, cattle, goats,
and sheep. It is quickly absorbed from the injection site and is retained in the blood and tissues
for 12-24 hours. It is eliminated unchanged with urine, where its concentrations significantly
exceed those in blood. Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a bactericidal effect.
